Another game jam in Snuffbox and the first time we have Jos! We had very ambitious ideas for this game, like a huge map with a small storyline; but we never really considered running the game on lower-end machines. We soon found out we should’ve kept optimization in mind and had to completely cut down on the map idea and made the game into a pointless brawler.. It was quite a shame, but atleast we ran into a wall that we learned from.

Interestingly , however, we got an enormous high rank in graphics; coming in at 8th place!

The game had a little map editor that you could enable with CVars. This made it fun to create maps and allowed for a lot of visual cues. I was responsible for both this editor, most of the player physics and again, pretty much all visual effects.
